1. Prescribed capital requirement (PCR)
1.1 Calculation of the PCR
The PCR for an AIFC-Incorporated Takaful Operator is the higher of:
- (a) 150% of the AIFC-Incorporated Takaful Operator’s MCR; and
- (b) the AIFC-Incorporated Takaful Operator’s Risk-Based Capital Requirement.
